The patented NiCom coating used by US Chrome on all of our motorcycle cylinder plating jobs is harder than chromium or any other competing cylinder coating. NiCom can also be applied 10 times more thickly than standard chromium, which allows maximum bore wear correction. The nickel composite surface is extremely low friction due to a minute particle size and highly oleophilic properties. A NiCom coated motorcycle cylinder won’t just be like-new quality, it will be more durable than the factory coating.
